In addition to being an active member in the Simcoe County Home Builders’ Association (SCHBA), Georgian Communities was also an event sponsor and volunteered in the annual Ice Fishing Tournament. This event is put on by the SCHBA in support of various non-profit organizations. Over the 14 years the event has taken place, the event has supported organizations such as: Big Brothers’ Big Sisters’, Redwood Park Communities, Barrie Out of the Cold Program, and many more.
Unfortunately, the event was cancelled in 2019 due to ice conditions but we look forward to getting back out on the ice next year.
