Barrie, Ontario – Georgian Communities, a pioneering developer and builder of remarkable communities and a subsidiary of the multifaceted Georgian International, is thrilled to announce its recent nominations at the prestigious Canadian Home Builders’ Association Annual Awards of Excellence. The Highlander model home, part of their most recent community, “Craighurst Crossing”, situated in the village of Craighurst, has been recognized as a finalist in three esteemed categories: Best Detached Production Home (2,401 to 2,800 sq. ft.), Best Production Kitchen, and Best Interior Decorating (Model/Show Home).
With over 900 entries submitted across Canada and evaluated by nearly 300 volunteer industry experts, these nominations underscore Georgian Communities’ commitment to excellence and innovation in home design and community development.
This is not Georgian Communities’ first recognition on the national stage. In 2016, Braestone Estates, also in Oro-Medonte, won Best New Home Community.
Inspired by Heritage, Designed for Tomorrow
The Highlander model home is a testament to Georgian Communities’ dedication to crafting spaces that reflect the beauty and heritage of their settings. Drawing inspiration from Oro-Medonte’s rich history and stunning natural landscapes, The Highlander embodies a modern farmhouse architectural style that is both welcoming and functional.
